Hefty Rhino does not rent dumpsters. We load and haul. Here is the honest version of which one fits your job, including the jobs where a dumpster is the better answer.
Rent a dumpster when the work is spread over days and you are doing the lifting. Call a junk removal crew when you want it gone today and would rather not carry it.
Not sure which one your job needs? Tell us what you have and we will say so straight.
Volume-based pricing across nine load sizes. You pay for the space your items take up in the truck, and labor, hauling, and disposal are already in that number.
Prices are starting points and sample load sizes. The final price is confirmed by a free on-site estimate and depends on volume, weight, access, and materials. See every load size and price.
No. We are a junk removal company: our crew comes to you, loads everything into the truck, and hauls it away in one visit. If what you actually need is a container sitting in your driveway for two weeks, a dumpster rental company is the right call and we would rather tell you that than sell you the wrong service.
It depends on the job, and anyone who answers that without seeing your pile is guessing. A dumpster spreads a flat rental fee over however much you can carry out yourself. Junk removal is priced by the space your items take in the truck, and the labor is included. For a single room, a garage, or anything you would rather not lift, junk removal is usually the cheaper of the two once your own weekend is counted. For a multi-week renovation where you are throwing things out daily, a dumpster usually wins.
Pricing is volume-based across nine load sizes, from a minimum load to a full truckload, and the pricing page lists every one of them. You pay for the truck space your items take up, not by the hour, and there is no fuel surcharge. Ask for a ballpark over the phone and we will give you one, but the price is firm once we have seen the load, and it does not move after that.
The restricted list is broadly the same for both of us. We cannot take hazardous materials: paint, solvents, automotive fluids, propane tanks, asbestos, or medical waste. What we can do that a container cannot is carry an item out of a second-floor bedroom or a fenced back yard, and take apart something like a hot tub so it fits in the truck.
That is the case where a dumpster makes the least sense: you would pay a full rental fee for a container you barely fill. Our minimum load covers a single item or a small pickup, and we can be in and out in well under an hour.
We work Duval, St. Johns, and Clay counties, including Jacksonville, Mandarin, St. Johns, Nocatee, Baymeadows and the surrounding communities. Call and tell us where you are and we will tell you honestly when we can get to you.
If that is the right tool for your job we will tell you, and you can go book one with a clear head. If it is not, we can usually have the whole thing loaded and gone in a single visit. Either way you get a straight answer on the phone.
